Vocaloid KAITO x MEIKO About Meiko and Kaito

About Meiko and Kaito

MEIKO is the first Japanese female vocaloid and KAITO is the first male Japanese vocaloid released by Crypton (Miku is the first Japanese Vocaloid2). Kaito was created as a counterpart of Meiko and they were developed together. On 24th July, 2003, an CCCD album "HISTORY OF LOGIC SYSTEM", which included a cover song using Japanese vocaloids commecially for the first time, was released. It was a duet song of "Ano Subarashii Ai wo Mou Ichido (That Wonderful Love Once Again)" and it was covered by prototype versions of Meiko and Kaito before their realease. Meiko was released 1 year after this and Kaito followed her 2 years later. The fact and their history made many fans addicted to the pair on Nico, and Kaito and Meiko are often said to be "Adam and Eve" of Japanese vocaloids.
